We are the over 6,000 K-12 CUPE Manitoba education workers who keep Manitoba’s school divisions running safely and smoothly. We are your children’s Educational Assistants (EAs), custodians, bus drivers, library technicians, and clerical staff. Embedded in every single community across the province, we are the parents on your street and the neighbours at your grocery store, deeply invested in the success and well-being of every student.

What We Are Fighting For:

  • Living Wages: We advocate for fair pay so the essential workers who care for and safely transport our kids can afford to live in the communities they serve.
  • Student Support: We fight for manageable workloads and proper staffing, ensuring every child–especially those with diverse needs--gets the focused attention they deserve.
  • Keeping Great Staff: By fighting for respect and better conditions, we keep passionate, experienced support staff in our schools where they belong.
